George Kunkel,  President, Project Manager 

            BIO:  George has lived in Pullman, WA since 1957.  In 1964 he started working in the construction industry on his summer breaks.  He attended WSU and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Political Science in 1974.  During his college career he worked on a commercial paint crew during the summers.  Since 1977 George has been self-employed and licensed in Washington since 1978.  He is KACI’s CEO and is responsible for cost estimating projects.  His product knowledge is impressive and if you need help with your finishes he is the one to talk to.  George enjoys fishing, Dutch oven cooking and camping.  He is an active member of the community and is a boy-scout leader.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife Kathy, their children and their grandchildren.    

Frank Gomez, Vice President, General Manager and Project Manager   

            BIO:   Frank has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and started in high school doing roofing and painting. He has done all phases of construction from concrete work, framing, plumbing, painting, custom cabinetry, tile and other finishes to roofing. His favorites being the custom cabinetry and other finish work.  He started working for KACI (Kunkel and Associates) in 1996. Today he is the General Manager and is in charge of supervising the production crew and scheduling jobs. To this day he continues his construction education by attending seminars on construction practices and management. When he’s not busy with work he enjoys fishing, hunting and astronomy. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Moscow United, coaches girls soccer, collects 80’s rock and roll music and is an active member of his church. Frank and his wife Sheryl have two active young girls, Hailey and Shelby and a 1 yr. old son Samson.     

Keith Wallace, Office Manager, Estimator and Project Manager:

          BIO:  Keith has worked with George Kunkel since 1988.  He started out working out on the job sites.  Since then he has become Office Manager, Estimator and is now a Project Manager as well managing his jobs from start to finish.  Before joining Kunkel and Associates he graduated with his Bachelors in Pyschology.  When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his dog and helps out with the Lion's Club.    

Karin Settles, Design, Drafting and 3D Modeling

            BIO:  Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Id Karin graduated from Lake City H.S. in 2000.  She then continued her education at N.I.C. for a year and transferred to University Of Idaho in 2001 where she majored in Architecture for the next 2 years.  Transferring to U of I’s new Virtual Technology & Design program, where she still emphasized architecture in her studies, she graduated with her Bachelors in 2005.  In August of 2005 she joined KACI General Contractor and is responsible for all of the design work and drafting blueprints for the company.  She also helps cost estimate jobs and put together proposals.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, remodeling their home, traveling and horseback riding.  Karin and Matt had their first child Carter Lee on 07-08-09.

 Daisy Blanchard, Office Assistant

            BIO:  Daisy is originally from Spokane, WA where she attended Spokane Falls and Eastern in general studies and Interface Computer school in the office assistant program.  She moved to Pullman, WA in 2005 and joined KACI in 2006 as the office assistant.  She helps cost estimate projects, helps with accounts receivable and payables for both the Contracting Company and the Electrical Company.  Daisy enjoys riding her bike, reading and spending time with her husband Will and their two children Andrew and Angela.
